That 'Cats' Movie Trailer!

Well, we have our first look at the upcoming movie-musical 'Cats'. I watched it late last night and my first thoughts were positive. I was never a big fan of the musical, but my sister loved it, so I am familiar with the story and the human-like cats. However, when reading other's reactions to the trailer I am a little surprised.

First off, let's be real here. It is a musical about humanized cats. In this rendition they chose to go more CGI than makeup although there is a good share of that happening as well. Personally, I like the look of the cats. It still has the on stage feel, but still movie quality. The casting is fantastic! You cannot go wrong with the likes of Judy Dench, Idris Elba, and Ian McKellen, even though I have seen a few hateful comments about Jennifer Hudson, James Cordon, and Taylor Swift. I think that they are perfect for the roles and look forward to seeing this in theaters this Christmas. Check out the trailer for yourself below!
